What players love
Exploration is the hook that keeps 100-hour fans coming back — every hidden nook holds something worth the detour, and combat's weighty crunch holds up across playthroughs.

"Basically a Grimdark Skyrim but with better combat and better skill trees. Also it is a smaller overall world but absolutely packed with stuff."

"Tainted Grail perfectly scratches that itch like Skyrim did the first seven times you played it. Has just the right amount of jank to stay charming, a great atmosphere and decent combat."

"Excellent game with a great feel to it! The story is excellent and entertaining with a dark vibe. Music is immersive. Big fan! I'll come back and play at a later time."

What frustrates them
Mid-game quests start to drag, and interior spaces lacking maps make navigation a persistent friction even for veterans.

"killing a certain recurring character at the end of act 2 completely softlocks main quest which I've noticed only at the end of act 3 a great game, an absolutely disastrous bug rip 53 hour playthrough, may try again with a mage build some another day"

"I really enjoyed the start, but towards the end of Act 1 I completely lost interest. The story just fell off. Most of the side quests felt pointless, although some of them were actually pretty funny. The combat gets repetitive fast, and the bosses feel underwhelming."

"I'd say the combat and the exploration is good but the questing feels a bit shallow and repetetive and the NPC's don't move or do anything and are pretty much there just to give you quests or fill in a town by wandering in circles and it feels like the world isn't alive or lived in because of it"
