What players love

Rubber-hose animation and jazz soundtrack keep long-time fans hooked; cheese puns and Troy Baker's voice acting are the recurring praise.

"This is my favorite classic-style Boomer-Shooter I ever play. It's like I'm shooting a bunch of 1920s Walt Disney cartoons with a shotgun. 10/10, by it and play it!"

"One of my most anticipated games of this year and it was very much worth the wait, 10/10 for too much cheese puns and for you guys collaborating with Caravan Palace, you have spoken to my inner middle school heart with that choice"

"Simple fps with great animations and a decent story. Most jokes and references landed for me. The detective aspect is simple aesthetic. Worth the money, and the ability to replay levels is a big bonus."

What frustrates them

Wave-based combat grows old after a few hours; the detective premise fades as levels turn into linear corridor shooting.

"Overall actually enjoying the game. Going to leave a negative review however for whoever had the brilliant idea to have both time and move limited puzzles that lock and have no way to re attempt or revisit them. What an absolutely terrible design decision to stick in an otherwise solid game."

"Fun game but it gets old after about 10 hours and drags on too long. Cut out about 5 hours of filler and it would be a great game."

"Its actually good for like 5 hours. After that the charm goes away and you just desperately want it to end already."
