What players love
The 64-player infantry flow still hooks — long-time fans keep coming back for the closest thing to BF3 since BF3, but the bloom and grind sour it.

"Love it! Squad play is fun and improvements every patch. Not a fan of time limited content, and I know we all miss persistent servers, but its still a solid game that I'm happy to come back to."

"This is a fantastic game in all respects. My only complaint is how they laid off a huge amount of the team after its release."

"Is the game fun, Yes. Is it weighted to the benefit of console plebs, Absolutely! Horrible netcode, bad hit-reg, Cheaters despite kernel level anti cheat and secure boot. Totally a false bill of goods, but fun with friends."

What frustrates them
Desync and dying around corners is the wall 500-hour veterans hit — every update seems to break netcode worse, making the gunfights feel like roulette.

"Until they stop changing core mechanics of the game, I won't recommend it. They are so desperate to keep the game from dying, they just react to every complaint made by the community. The game was in it's best form in the BETA!"

"This game is 0/10 after new patch. Spread of guns is atrocious, gamepad bros running aimbot, TTK takes minutes. DO NOT BUY IT. Let it die."

"I dont know why DICE feels the need to constantly revamp things that were fun. The game feels awful to play."
